Reverend James Morar was born on September 3, 1912 in Varansi, India. At the age of (20) he was baptized in Jesus' Name and filled with the Holy Ghost. At the age of (22) he came to the United States and spent two years in Tulsa, Oklahoma attending the Apostolic Bible Training School, under the direction of C.P. Williams. On May 11, 1953 Brother Morar was married to Vidya Shirin. Together, they had four children.
After returning to India from Bible School in Tulsa, Brother Morar spent the rest of his life dedicated to preaching and building churches in India. At the age of (25) he became a full time pastor, and eventually became the overseer of (10) churches. Early on, he was associated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, and was supported by many churches in that group, including Grace Apostolic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana, pastored by Bishop M.E. Golder. In his early years of ministry he frequented Christ Temple in Indianapolis. Bishop G.T. Haywood was instrumental in helping bring the Morar family to the United States. In the early seventies, Brother Morar became a member of the Apostolic Ministers Fellowship.
On April 27, 1988 at the age of (76) Brother Morar went home to be with the Lord. He was a true man of God. He upheld the Apostolic message, and is now a part of heavens "Hall of Faith".
