It is an honor to see my father recognized and some of his sermons memorialized. He passed away way too young, he truely lived and breathed the word if God and revelation.

From Mississippi. I was given an old book by Murray E. Burr, "Scriptural Tithing and New Testament Church Government", and in researching this author I found this website. I have enjoyed the site and all the information it provides. The book by Rev. Burr is excellent.

I am so happy to see this Bishop Grimes and Sister Grimes lived in our home before I was born. Down through the years, he was a precious Man of God.

I'm attempting to verify the accuracy of some information on this website. The bio under John Scheel indicates that he received a degree from Moody Theological Seminary. Is this the same seminary associated with Moody Bible Institute in Chicago? If so, as the school's Registrar I must inform you that this information is not accurate. He has not received a Doctorate degree from our school. Could you please verify this information? Thank you.

In response, we got the information concerning Dr. Scheel from his bio. We have not spoken with him for some time. When the occasion presents itself we will inquire.

Kind Regards!
