Praise the Lord for His saving grace and keeping power. I am located near Walnut Hill, Florida and attend the "Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle" located in Molino, Florida. My pastor is bro. Michael Mills.
I have been blessed in writing several drafts such as "Understanding the Lord's Supper" - "The others crucified" - "The separation" &c.
I was baptized in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ on July 27th 1980 and received the Holy Ghost on August 19th, 1980. My pastor, at that time, was bro. M.L. Shields, located in Hot Springs, AR.
The Lord surely has blessed me through the years and I am not ashamed of "this way"! God bless.

A great preacher in the Apostolic Pentecostal church told me, you can be Pentecostal without being Apostolic but you can't be Apostolic without being Pentecostal. I've lived to know this to be true we have today many Pentecostal church's that embrace the speaking in other tongue's yet deny the baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ but the real Holy Ghost will guide us into all truth. That is if we let or allow it. I praise God for the truth that I have and pray always that I will always allow Him to guide me. I thank the Lord for finding your web and for your labor of love in providing us such rich history of real facts of our faith. My His choices blessing continue to overtake all of you. Thank you!

Dr. Garrett:
This site is such a blessing to me! I am in deep gratitude for such an accurate historical record of the Jesus Name movement in America. I come from an "unorthodox" form of Apostolic churches that are sometimes referred to as "signs followers" (or commonly, and unfortunately, Serpent Handlers). I say this, so that you may understand my affiliation, not to make any statement or theological opinion on your wonderful site.
Commonly, these fellowships want their studying to be only that of scripture and less of history or anything else. To me, that is very sad, considering there is such a wealth of knowledge and faith in the history of the Church since Pentecost. Its hard to see where you're going if you don't know where you've been, so to speak.
I have been studying throughout the past year on the founders of the Apostolic movement in America. There is a lot of material to research! I thank you so kindly for bringing so much of it together into one place for everyone to be able to freely use! May our Lord Jesus Christ bless your every endeavor!
In Jesus Name,
Bro. William Barnes

Thanks for the ideas for my Thesis at UNCC. I will be calling on you for your advice since my advisor is a Calvinist 16th and 17th-century historian. He is currently being indoctrinated on Pentecostalism. So far, this is my thesis statement:

"The phenomenon of Pentecostalism does not lie within the name itself; it is not the repentance factor alone that creates the sensationalism; nor is it the baptism of water and fire that generates the enthusiasm; all are part of an
ecclesiastical combination that makes this experience a movement."

I will start this summer on Completing Chapters 1, 2, 3.

I love what you are doing and thanks for the vision!

I love history no matter what form. Especially to learn ore about our forefathers and mothers in the gospel.

Could there possibly be a chance of you adding some pictures of some of the mothers in the gospel from all phases of Apostolic History? we have many.

Dr. Lottie Glenn was one of the beginning evangelist, then pastors in the Greater Detroit, MI area. She has gone on but shall never be forgotten. Until this day, no one has given us such sound teaching, preaching, expression of being a lady, and living holy before God and man as she.

Could we add some history on her and others please.

So good to talk with you today, Dr. Garrett. I have not yet met you but am surely looking forward to that time when I get the privilege of making your acquaintance. Your dad was my Pastor in Del Rio, Texas when I was a young teenager. So glad he was a part of my early walk with God. In fact, he baptized me in Del Rio. I'm looking forward to contributing some items to your Archive. Numbers 6:24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon
thee, and give thee peace.

Thank you so much Bro. Law! I appreciate you and the vision you have for preserving Pentecostal history!

I am a 4 generation Apostolic and I visit here often to remind myself of the earth shaking history we share. I am a life long member of the great Ohio District Council in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W)

Our campground in Zanesville, Ohio is filled with buildings, trails, and so many other monuments that are named after these remarkable pioneers of the faith. I am sold out to the Onesness movement. I have been and I always will be!

Praise God! Great report! ~Dr. Garrett~
