The International Federation of Historians for Oneness Pentecostal Studies

Purpose and Mission

The Apostolic Archives International has created the illustrious registry called the Apostolic Historians Association, for the purpose of networking Pentecostal historians, regardless of organizational affiliation.

Through the registry of the Apostolic Historians Association, members will be provided the opportunity to share their ideas, open dialouge with others of like interests, and introduce the uniqueness of their particular Apostolic background as it pertains to the oneness movement.

Never before in the history of modern Pentecostalism has there been the development of a federation designed for the unity of Oneness historians such as the Apostolic Historians Association.

Through this elite networking program, Apostolic historians will have unlimited access to the most prolific "think tanks" and academically equipped individuals the oneness movement has ever known.

The first twenty-five (25)  eligable candidates for membership will receive a certificate of "Lifetime" membership" and the elite status of being part of the "Founders Club".

The criteria for membership into the (AHA) is based on two (2) very important conditions relative to the overall purpose and mission of the association. First: Each candidate must pledge his/her allegiance to the theological position on the oneness of God in Christ as is most commonly believed among us. Secondly: Each candidate must have a thorough knowledge of Pentecostal history, and provide satisfactory proof to the "Executive Committee" that they hold an academic degree of higher Christian education, or present proof of actively pursuing a degree.

The intended purpose of the Apostolic Historians Association is to serve the oneness movement as a bureau of historians fulfilling the following objectives:

 1. To network  Pentecostal historians in the effort of: establishing dialog, interacting ideas, sharing information and knowledge" relative to "Pentecostalism and the Oneness movement."

2. To create a fire-wall of protection against historical corruption.

3. To protect the integrity of historical records, concerning Pentecostalism, and related events.

4. To maintain honesty and consistancy within the perimeter of Apostolic/Pentecostal history.

The Apostolic Historians Association also serves as the instructional arm for the Apostolic Archives International, providing the highest level of academic expertise during our annual "Heritage Conference".

The annual, "Heritage Conference" will be conducted primarily by members of the (AHA), with exceptions being made to non-members, (based on special invitation by the "Executive Committee") who shall benefit the historical seminars with their 'expertise' in the field of Pentecostal history.
