The periodical was established in 1910 and, continued under Haywoods supervision until his untimely death in 1931. When the late Bishop S.N. Hancock founded the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith in Detroit, MI., the Voice In The Wilderness became the official organ of the (PCAF).
